In nature there is nothing falsely witnessed and all of nature shows that. But with man you are surrounded by false witnesses accusing and excusing themselves. Jesus was accused of everything they could throw at him and he had no sin in him and they still put him to death. The fleshly man was dead all the way to cross and did not rile back or say anything.
Mt. 26:59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death:
So I have to say that Jesus kept himself dead to sin and that is the way all of us have to do, not say anything back and just give them time to see the wrong they are doing.
Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Keep your mind on God and don’t encourage or stir them to the place they want to keep on arguing with you, silence is the best thing for fighting back. If they want to continue to talk about you and say false things about you, read it;
Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. It took Jesus to show you the way to put yourselves in a death state when you are being persecuted by your enemies; because they are of your own household.
Micah 7:6 For the son dishonored the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s and women’s enemies are the men and women of his and her own house.
The Lord God will repay those who have hurt his people for an eternity in his time not ours and when he gets his vengeance! When you get together with family and you start to argue and fight with them, know that there is a reason why and that reason is to separate you from them so he can talk to you and show you the things he wants you to know. The ones in your house are the ones that keep you from serving the Lord by getting you involved in other things that they have to do or want to do. Think about it when one of them want something it takes your mind off what you wanted to do.
